Fertnel has been a hobby of mine since the first mac, back in 1984. It began as a single imagewriter page--a zine, I suppose, although I wouldn't hear that word until the middle '90s. By then, I had transfered it to the web and won awards, fans, friends and accolades. Surprisingly, at least to me, it also became a portfolio piece and helped me get internet design work.
After a liscencing deal with a major media network fell through and my own work increased, updates to Fertnel.com became rare and then stopped. For about a year, it wasn't even on-line. That seemed a little sad, so Fertnel.com is back!
